Recipes

  • Caprese

Ingredients:

  • 1 mozzarella di bufala

  • 2 ripe tomatoes

  • 10 basil leaves

  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into thin slices.

  2. Wash the basil leaves and dry them.

  3. Cut the mozzarella di bufala into thin slices.

  4. Arrange the tomato slices, mozzarella di bufala, and basil leaves on a serving plate.

  5. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Sfogliatella

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of puff pastry

  • 100 g of buffalo ricotta

  • 100 g of candied fruit

  • 100 g of powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Unroll the puff pastry and divide it into 4 equal parts.

  2. On each part of puff pastry, place a spoonful of buffalo ricotta, a spoonful of candied fruit, and a spoonful of powdered sugar.

  3. Fold the puff pastry into a triangle shape and seal the edges with your fingers.

  4. Bake the sfogliatelle in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Eggplant with Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggplants

  • 100 g of dark chocolate

  • 100 g of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • A pinch of cloves

Instructions:

  1. Wash the eggplants and cut them into thin slices.

  2. Fry the eggplants in hot olive oil until golden brown.

  3. Beat the dark chocolate with sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.

  4. Arrange the eggplants on a baking sheet and cover them with the melted chocolate.

  5. Bake the eggplant with chocolate in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate has melted and set.

  6. Serve the eggplant with chocolate hot or cold.

  • Limoncello

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of water

  • 1 kg of lemons

  • 1 kg of sugar

Instructions:

  1. Wash the lemons and cut them into thin slices.

  2. Place the lemon slices in a jar and add the sugar.

  3. Fill the jar with water and close it tightly.

  4. Let the limoncello macerate for at least 30 days in a cool, dark place.

  5. After 30 days, strain the limoncello and pour it into bottles.

  6. The limoncello is now ready to be enjoyed!
